I'm Leila, a solo mom raising two fearless little explorers, and I have never believed that having kids meant putting the world on pause. I started traveling internationally with my toddler while pregnant with my second, navigating airports, hotel check-ins, and foreign cities with a diaper bag in one hand and a boarding pass in the other. What I discovered along the way is that this season of motherhood, the loud, exhausting, beautiful, chaotic one, is actually one of the best times to travel. Not someday. Now. Not the polished, everything-went-perfectly version. The real one. The one that tells you what to photograph before you leave your hotel room in a foreign country, why your toddler will lose it at exactly the wrong moment, and how to find a genuinely family-friendly hotel that is not just using that phrase as a marketing line. I cover the honest chaos, the hotel reviews that actually matter to moms, the child safety tips nobody else is talking about, and the emotional side of all of it. Because traveling with your kids changes you, and I think that part deserves to be said out loud. I am also a deal finder at heart.
